Your photographic style is inevitable. Embrace it!
I’ve been shooting for over 20 years and although I’m fortunate enough to have a very recognisable and distinguishing photographic style today, it wasn’t always like that. So how did I get here?
Each and every one of us has a unique photographic style, and even if you’re thinking that isn’t the case with you, I assure you it’s true. Your style just may not have fully developed yet.
In this full-day online workshop I’ll be going through and unlocking each and every one of your personal styles and explaining how you can develop it into not only a marketable aspect of your photography, but also how it can help you to take more photos that you absolutely love and are proud of each and every time you shoot.
Why is a photographic style important
The three keys to a successful business
You already have a photographic stye
How to unlock it
How to develop it
Personalised actions
During this process I’ll be asking you to be truly honest with yourself with regards to what you love seeing in other photographs you surround yourself with. It’s within these photographs where we will find the seeds of your own personal photographic style and I’ll help you to recognise and understand these to then point you in the right direction with practical actions to take away and develop yourself.
This process simply works for everyone and if you’re still skeptical, I actually went back and looked at the images I loved when I was first learning photography. 20 years on from that and the similarities and seeds of inspiration from those images all those years ago is still startlingly clear in my work today.
Like I said, your photographic style is inevitable. Embrace it.
In this full-day online workshop (via Zoom), I’ll be going through and unlocking each and every one of your personal styles and explaining how you can develop it into not only a marketable aspect of your photography, but also how it can help you to take more photos that you absolutely love and are proud of each and every time you shoot.
Note: This is a personalised and interactive workshop where I will be working with each and every one of you on the day.
Because of this, spaces are limited to a max of 10 attendees.
This is not a sit-back and watch event. I'll have plenty of tasks for you to do ;)
All of my previous workshops have been held in the studio, but this one is the first that I’ll host online. The location for this workshop is from the comfort of your own home.
I will be speaking and engaging with each and every one of you during this workshop so there are a few things you’ll need to have before we start. You’ll of course need a computer or a laptop, a webcam (most laptops come with these already built in), some headphones and a microphone. Again, most headphones that come with your mobile phone also have a mic in them and these will be absolutely fine. But even the microphone isn’t mandatory as again, most laptops have a built in microphone and that can work for what we need too.
This will be a Zoom workshop so you will need to download the Zoom software before we begin. Don’t worry though, Zoom is free and it works on all platforms, even phones and iPads. If you don’t have it downloaded yet, you can download it from their website here ZOOM Website
I will send out joining instructions for everyone that signs up and I will also ask you to do a little bit of homework in preparation for our workshop on the day. But don’t worry, if you get stuck, I’ll cover everything you need to know on the day.
Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with working online, as I will be there to guide you through each step. Registration is at 9:45am and the course will commence at 10am – this will give me time to help those who might have issues. Plus: I'll actually be running this workshop from the studio on my end and I'll also have Simon the studio manager on hand to help out with any queries too. I promise we’ll take care of you :)
